Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative manages client accounts and supports both supply chain and commercial teams, based at our West Nyack, NY facility.
Essential Functions
- Develop, issue, and have weekly communication with clients utilizing open order reports
- Process and manage customer orders from order entry, raw material procurement, planning/production, quality status, and lastly shipment
- Verify order accuracy, pricing, lead time and coordinate any necessary changes with clients directly
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Partner with Project Management team following product development to ensure successful transition to replenishment order
- Work with various internal departments confirming proper communication, time mgt, documentation, product scheduling, troubleshoot issues & finalize orders.
- Manage customer complaint flow from entry, return, rework, and shipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, ideally within the cosmetics industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent customer service and maintenance skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal communication with both internal teams and external customers
- Team-oriented with a commitment to company values
